Portfolio Manager Bob McWhirter Wins 3rd Consecutive Canadian Investment Award

We are pleased to announce that Bob McWhirter, Portfolio Manager of Selective Asset Management Inc., received the Science and Technology Equity Fund Award, as the portfolio manager of the Northwest Specialty Innovations Fund, at last night’s 2006 Canadian Investment Awards.

This is the third year in a row that Bob has won the award. Event organizers believe that Bob is the only fund manager in Canada in any category to have performed a ‘hat trick’ with three back-to-back wins.

Bob uses the same disciplined fundamental approach in managing the Northwest Specialty Innovations Fund as he does for the Selective Asset Long-Biased Hedge Fund LP, and the five mutual funds he manages on behalf of NexGen Financial.
