Mr. McWhirter has more than 25 years experience in the securities industry and is a well known money manager. A fund managed by Mr. McWhirter was honoured with the prestigious 2006 Canadian Investment Awards’ Science & Technology Equity Fund of the Year for the third year in a row (2004, 2005, 2006). Selective is headquartered in Toronto.
